Rocket League is getting a Stranger Things crossover for Halloween

Hit automotive soccer game Rocket League is getting a Stranger Things crossover in time for Halloween. The plan was announced this week by developer Psyonix, which has released a video and series of high-res images showing off several new car designs. The game will be going into The Upside Down, according to the company, featuring the Farmstead arena and Mind Flayer.

Netflix reveals ‘Big Mouth’ animated spinoff at New York Comic Con

Netflix has announced plans to launch a spinoff of its original adult animated sitcom Big Mouth. The new series will be called Human Resources and it’ll focus specifically on the monsters we see in the primary show. The company announced its plan at the New York Comic Con alongside a short teaser trailer giving us a brief look at the monsters’ world.

Netflix adds ‘Latest’ shows tab and new ‘Remind Me’ alerts

Netflix has slightly redesigned its interface, adding a new tab called ‘Latest’ that makes it easy to find newly added content and to see which shows will be getting additions in the near future. The tab is located in the relatively new interface’s left-side panel, where users can also access the search tool, return to home, and more. In addition, the new tab allows users to sign up for reminders.

Netflix won’t give ‘The OA’ a movie following the show’s cancellation

Fans have raged since news arrived earlier this month that Netflix had canceled The OA after two seasons. The cancellation arrived despite a large number of fans and consistently high ratings, ultimately spurring a number of protests and petitions asking Netflix to change its mind. Sadly, it seems the show is officially and permanently over.

Netflix Collections test on iOS presents human-curated content

Netflix is testing a new feature on iOS called ‘Collections’ that presents users with a batch of content curated by humans, not machines. The curated Collections cover both TV shows and movies and are grouped together based on certain commonalities, such as the tone of the content, storylines, genre, and more. Collections join Netflix’s existing personalized recommendations.
